Robert "Myke" Morris

Supervisor Morris currently serves as Treasurer of the District Board. After 30 years in agricultural finance working for local, regional, national, and international investors, independently buying, selling, managing, and lending on farms, groves, and ranches throughout the Southeastern US, Supervisor Morris spent 15 years acquiring conservation lands and easements through Florida Forever and the NRCS Farm and Ranchland Protection Program. He became proficient in rural appraisal (State Certified over 30 years and nationally Accredited over 35 years). He is currently a Guardian ad Litem, 13th Judicial Circuit and serving as Secretary of the Florida Agricultural Hall of Fame of which he is a Charter Member of the Board of Directors. He is currently on the Hillsborough 4-H Foundation Board of Directors. His public service has included serving as Florida 4-H Foundation, Inc. President, University of Florida IFAS Vice Presidential Search Committee (by University Presidential Appointment) American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers: Florida Chapter President, Professional Advancement and Education - national committees, Greater Hillsborough County Fair Board President, Hillsborough County Agri-business Council, and Hillsborough County Extension Overall Advisory Committee and Agricultural Policy Advisory Committee.
