UF/IFAS Extension

The mission of the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) is to develop knowledge relevant to agricultural, human and natural resources and to make that knowledge available to residents and businesses to sustain and enhance the quality of human life. The Hillsborough County Extension office is in Seffner, at County Road 579, research-based information and assistance is available through workshops, classes, a teaching garden, projects, publications and more. The UF/IFAS Gulf Coast Research and Education Center is in Wimauma, at 14625 CR 672.
