Reminder: The Florida Block Grant Disaster Relief Program Grant Applications are DUE August 25, 2026

The Florida Block Grant Disaster Relief Program was developed by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) in partnership with the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) to provide over $600 million in in block grant funding to eligible producers, providing relief to eligible producers who have faced significant loss or damage to structures, crops, and other assets due to natural disaster.

The application window is currently open and will close on August 25, 2026, all applications must be fully submitted prior to that date to be included in the program. Eligibility for infrastructure items are determined wholly by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Due to existing coverage under the Emergency Conservation Program (ECP), any damage relating to permanent fences are not considered an eligible expense for the purpose of this block grant.
