2026 Florida Senate Bill 848

These bills contain provisions that address the concerns raised by both the professional sector and by a relatively few concerned citizens to our local and regional surface water management agencies over many years. Conceptually, the bills promote innovation toward achieving stormwater treatment, improving the rigor expected in permit performance and a demand for financial assurances that going forward, newly permitted stormwater treatment features will be managed over the long term.
