Hillsborough County Expands Evacuation Zones for 2026 Hurricane Season

Evacuation zones for Hillsborough County have changed for the 2026 hurricane season, impacting more properties. Employees should take the time now to review their evacuation zone and make a plan in the event their zone is called to evacuate. Visit https://hcfl.gov/residents/public-safety/emergency-management/find-evacuation-information and type in the address to learn if a property is in Zone A, B, C, D, or E. Zone A is the first to evacuate, along with all manufactured and mobile homes in the county. All manufactured and mobile homes are always included in Zone A even if they are inland. Every three to five years, evacuation zones are reviewed and updated based on data related to potential storm surge risks.
