Living with Wildlife is a collaborative workshop between the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and Archbold Biological Station. The workshop invites landowners, community members, agencies and conservation organizations, researchers, and local professionals to learn practical strategies for living alongside Florida's wildlife.

Attending the workshop will: 

• provide practical tools and strategies to reduce human-wildlife conflicts and protect pets and livestock
• share information about local wildlife, conservation efforts, and available resources
• share experiences from local landowners through a landowner panel
• connect landowners, agencies, NGOs, researchers, and other partners

The event will also provide an opportunity to tour Buck Island Ranch on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets for the tour can be added when registering for the Living with Wildlife Workshop. Please note that tour attendees are expected to drive to Buck Island Ranch, which is about 20–25 minutes from the event venue.

The Living with Wildlife Workshop will be held at Archbold Biological Station (123 Main Drive, Venus, FL 33960) on October 13, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
