Walk the Watershed: John Chesnut Park

A wooden boardwalk overlooking a serene lake with grassy banks and a distant tree line under a blue sky.

In celebration of stormwater stewardship month, join Pinellas County and UF-IFAS Extension Pinellas County for "Walk the Watershed" at John Chesnut Park! This program will be a combined environmental educational program and guided hike.

We will collect water quality data in Lake Tarpon, take a hike around the edge of the lake to spot wildlife, and learn about ways we can all contribute to the cleanliness of our waterways. Everyone has a part to play when it comes to stormwater pollution prevention!

Please meet us in the parking lot adjacent to the boat ramp (28.086614, -82.701648).
