In Memoriam: Honoring HSWCD Board Chairman Michael Hepburn, scholarship in his name coming soon
It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our Hillsborough Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors Chairman Michael Hepburn, who left us on March 19, 2021. Michael, pictured at his last board meeting, Feb. 3, served the HSWCD with great distinction, supporting many programs, from our annual Hillsborough 100 Conservation Challenge to our annual Great Plant Auction, with proceeds going to HSWCD youth programs and scholarships. The HSWCD Board of Supervisors is proud to recognize Mike with a youth scholarship in his name and a tree planted in an area park. Details on both will be available soon. Please know that Mike, a beloved, long-time teacher at Riverview High School, greatly enjoyed public service and felt it an honor to serve Hillsborough County.
