Ag-Venture is a “hands-on” learning experience teaching third grade students in Hillsborough County, FL about the importance of agriculture. Our goal is to help them develop an understanding of where food comes from and the impact agriculture has in their daily lives.
How Ag-Venture Works
Students visit five stations representing different aspects of agriculture. Students can participate in a variety of hands-on activities ranging from beef and dairy animal stations to watermelon and strawberry crop stations. These stations vary from year to year to keep the program engaging. Schools will be assigned to a track that will have a balance of plant and animal science.
