Description:

Opportunity for veterans, transitioning personnel and their spouses to tour Hillsborough County farms to see the diversity of agriculture and the various types of career opportunities that agribusiness has to offer.

The tour will start and end at UF/IFAS Extension Hillsborough County, 5339 CR 579, Seffner, FL 33584. You will be touring a cattle operation, strawberry farm and market, tropical aquaculture farm and then have lunch and tour the UF/IFAS Gulf Coast Research and Education Center. After lunch we will tour a blueberry farm and return to the Hillsborough County Extension Office.

Cost is $5 which includes lunch. Seating is limited.

Please be sure to wear appropriate clothing and closed-toed shoes.
